Improvement of thermal performances
Optimal Thermal Solutions (formerly known as ATS Europe BV) created with 6SigmaET a thermal simulation of a LED-replacing light. Purpose of this project was to develop a thermal management solution for the LED-light without using a large heatsink. The size of the light had to be the same size as the light bulb. A thermal simulation was performed with the aid of 6SigmaET to control the design. The predicted temperatures differed less than 5% in regard to the experimental temperature measurements.
